Bespoke Mask Making Workshop in the lead up to The Masked Pagan Ball
Creativity Unmasked Founder Aya Husni Bey is offering you a bespoke mask making workshop at a talk of the town private members club, Vout-O-Reenees.
Aya will share with you some exquisite mask making skills.
In the build up to The Masked Pagan Ball at Epic in Dalston.
‘Think Midsummer Nights dream meets Mad Max, where inhibitions are shed in a masked rampage of the ancient rites, reaching towards the heavens and howling at the moon in an exultant dancing celebration of the longest day.’
June 8th & June 10th: 8pm – 10pm
This bespoke mask making technique requires that participants bring a partner, male, female, friend or lover. Being comfortable to have them touch your face is a must as you will be making a plaster cast of your face. The start is an intimate process, and the rest is fun and creative. Working with the theme of the masked pagan ball, we will be creating a masked character for you to transform into.
The technique requires prior craft skills.
£28 (incl. basic materials) for both evenings.
To further explore your character with movement and playful decadence; Aya is offering you the opportunity to attend her dance evening at a reduced price.
The Dance evening is running on Thursday 9th June in Kentish Town.
The dance group costs £14 (£10 for mask makers)
Bespoke Mask Making is brought to you by Aya Husni Bey.
